| DRAFT ITINERARY: Day 1: Arrival at Juan Santamaría International Airport in San José, meet at airport & transfer to San Jose Hotel. (No meals) Day 2: Morning transfer to EcoRanch, stopping by Orotina Town centre, horse presentation, assignment and ride. Afternoon hike/walk. Overnight at Maravilla Lodge or Cerro Lodge. (B, L & D) Day 3: Morning Crocodile boat Safari tour down the Tarcoles River and nature walk at Carara National Park. Afternoon ride across the northern part of the hacienda at La Leona. Overnight at Maravilla Lodge or Cerro Lodge. (B, L & D) Day 4: Pacific coast ride (Maravilla - Bajamar - Tivivies Crag). Afternoon visit to Orotina town and Caldera Village. Overnight at Maravilla Lodge or Cerro Lodge. (B, L & D) Day 5: Ocean Kayaking and Snorkeling at Playa Agujas. Free afternoon to relax. Overnight at Maravilla Lodge or Cerro Lodge. (B, L & D) Day 6: Countryside ride visiting Santa Rita Village and the one-horse Village of La Ceiba Town. Afternoon exploring the treetops on the Aerial Tram and Canopy (zipline) tour. Overnight at Maravilla Lodge or Cerro Lodge. (B, L & D) Day 7: Ride to Machuca river canyon and Oricuajo del Labrador, picnic lunch. Afternoon transfer back to San Jose. (B, S) Day 8: Transfer to Airport in time for return flight home. (B) |
