| DRAFT ITINERARY: Day 1: Arrival at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José, meet at airport & transfer to your hotel near San Jose. (*No meals*) Day 2: Morning transfer to EcoRanch, stopping by Orotina Town centre, horse presentation, assigment and ride. Overnight in Orotina. (B, L & D) Day 3: Pacific coast ride (Maravilla - Bajamar - Tivivies Crag) *departure depends on tide*. Overnight in Orotina. (B, L & D) Day 4: Ride at La Marvilla in the Cuarros area. Afternoon ride to la Ceiiba town or alternatively through La Mariana farm. Overnight in Orotina. (B, L & D) Day 5: Ride to Machuca River canyon, picnic lunch & transfer to La Fortuna. Overnight in Arenal. (B, L & D) Day 6: Morning at leisure, then spend some free time enjoying the Thermal Hot-water Springs. Afternoon transfer to Abangaritos. Overnight in Abangaritos. (B, L & D) Day 7: Morning briefing, horse allocation and exploratory Ride at Hacienda La Ensenada. Lodge. Overnight in Abangaritos. (B, L & D) Day 8: Ride visiting the Salinas (Salt lagoons) and Mangrove Swamps. Afternoon ride towards the Eastern part of the ranch visiting the various Lookout Points. Overnight in Abangaritos. (B, L & D) Day 9: Ride towards Manzanillo, visiting rural communities, crossing Cañamazo river, Reforestation areas and farmland. Afternoon transfer to San Jose. Overnight in San Jose.
